"Now I myself am confident concerning you, my brethren, that you also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able to admonish one another."
Roman 15 : 14
Purpose
The purpose is to expand the love and friendship of our brothers and sisters in the church. Also to provide an avenue that we may cultivate the attitudes of our friends outside the church to become members of the Lord's Body.
Reason
We realize people of the same age group have a lot in common and this program is designed for our older members. This is an organzied effort that can allow them to meet together and enjoy various activities that include food, fun and fellowship.
Time
This group meets on special occasions, approximately once a month. An announcement or an article in the bulletin will keep everyone informed of the time of these events.
Who is involved
Any member of the congregation over the age of 40 is welcome to these activities. We have a vast amount of knowledge and experience in this group who are suppoting each other spiritually and sharing their lives with each other. This is a growing group of those who are constantly doing something to uplift thier lives, both spiritually and otherwise.
